Re: prop question

Starting point would be determining the pitch of your current aluminum prop and your rpm at WOT. Do you know these two things at this point?

Ayuh,.......

Without knowing Exactly what the Pitch is,+ the rpms at WOT that the motor will do With the prop that's on it Now,..........

There is No Answer to your Question..........

The Pitch will be stamped on the side of the props Main Body, or Under the Retaining nut,+ hardware.........
For the rpms at WOT,......... Ya gotta go for a Boat Ride........................:)

Re: prop question

You may have to dismount the propeller to find the pitch stamping. Do you have a tachometer at the helm to see your rpm at full throttle? There's just no way to know which propeller is right without these two pieces of information.

I do have a tach and i think about 4600 would be right. I am hopping for warm weather this weekend to take it out again and see for sure. Thanks fir the pitch location.
