I like this part in the Op Ed Piece, especially the part about ?It is America's leader that counts? of course it was Americas leaders that got us into a unnecessary war in Iraq. It seems he has adapted well to the ways of the west, write a conspiracy book on the JFK assassination,
make a few a few outrages claims to get publicity, bingo, book sells. Next week, Oprah.

One has to wonder how the author knows so much about the JFK assasaination......

Up until the Vietnam War, that was the accepted position of both parties, (where the Political hammering stopped at the water's edge): PW2. Cornservatives have generally not changed their ways. After the Democrats forced our defeat, n' then very surprizingly, (as a Democrat President and his party really did 'lie' to create an 'event' to get us fully into that particular war), the Dems took all the political spoils after our defeat, (which was forced by them) in 1975. This set the stage for where we are today: PW2.

That horrible precident, climaxing first in 1980 with a big rebuke of the dim wits' very distructive anti military and anti important ally, (IRAN) policies with the land slide win of Ronald Reagan, (although the dim wits managed to maintain slim corntrol of congress with their MSM pals helpin' all the way). This same ugly anti American post Vietnam back wash process by dim wits hit again in 2004 with John F Kerry managing to win more votes then any Democrat in history, (regardless of his clearly treasonist cornduct blatently helping the Communists defeat us in the early 1970s).

Ya can't really blame the curent Dem pols fer bein' criminals n' treasonist selfish pigs blatently helpin' our enemies as they did in the 1970s, since many dim wit supporters actually seem to luv criminal cornduct or treason n' vote fer 'em or treat 'em like "rock stars". "Teddy Oldsmobile"; Bill Clinton, (ya know: the minor matter of an intentional Felony by an officer of the Court, [Mr Clinton was a lawyer ya know]), William Jefferson yada yada. The dim wits vote fer obvious clearly known crooks, n' treasonist pigs, so why should we be shocked at all the Dem crooks currently holding office, n' the Dem treasonist pigs corntrolling Congress n' runnin' fer President. The current Dem Pols are a reflection of their supporters n' the dim wits seem ta luv em. Real simple.

The article that started this thread just states what most of us know as the truth, (some ignore the truth or attack the source of the information), but: facts are facts PW2. When a very capable enemy that fights a total war against us that most the world's Libs, n' our own Libs' n' Dems do what they can to handcuff our troops n' help these guys win with anti American propaganda n' intell to help the bad guys by displayin' our effective tactics on the front page of the NYT, (because their supporters luv American defeat, n' the potential shift in power to the Big government that they think they will corntrol). Real simple, (at least to a guy with one brain cell). JR

I am beginning to think you actually believe your tortured rendition of history, Murky. That's a bit frightening.

Let's see. We were just on the verge of prevailing in Viet Nam, if it weren't for the dems.

And we are in the last throes of the insurgency in Iraq.

And, according to Bush last week, the primary enemy in Iraq we are fighting is Al-Qaida, and the Pentagon released info this week that the majority of the IED's that are killing American troops are being supplied to Shiite militias from Iran!

It's like to just make a person's head spin!

At least we can count on one thing that will remain constant. When this policy fails, as it inevitably must fail, it will be the fault of the dems.

It is nice to know there is something in this mess that remains clear amid all the other confusion that seems to prevail everywhere else.

More accurate words were never spoken. By the North Viatnamese's own admission, they were on their knees when Nixon stopped the bombing of the North. They were smart enough to know that all they had to do was get us back to talking and they would get their way.

The Dems made sure the defeat was final by cutting all funding n' spares to our allies costing 3,000,000 souls their lives.
