In testing the Pulse limiter Inlet on my VRO, I applied air to the inlet on pump. It would not hold pressure as required by test. I soaped and air bubbles coming out around housing where fitting is attached. No way to repair, looks molded or glued. I assume this would prevent the fuel pump from working? Engine will hardly run without pumping primer ball.

There are check valves. in the air motor housing.------One lets pressure to one side the other lets lower pressure to other side.

It tis bad..either replace with newer OMS pump or standard fuel pump depending on engine type.
