I have a 2005 Bentley Cruise 200 with a 50 HP Mercury 2 stroke. The motor is mounted on the transom in such as fashion that it is not completely seated on the motor bracket. It is about 1 1/2 inches from being completely seated. If I look from the back the cavitation plate is about even with the bottom of the toons. The motor ventilates fairly badly. Even a turn that is not very sharp ventiates the prop. The motor stop is in the lowest hole. As I said, I could move the motor down about an inch and a half.
