Could over filling a DP-C1 with oil cause it to shift hard from foward to reverse. I thought maybe my cable was going bad, but tonight i noticed that the unit is indeed over filled. Im probably 1/4" above the max oil level line.
You adjust cable at drive end (under shift cover). Idle at 650 in the water
Maybe you should change the cable and get back with us. I remember that thread.i havent adjusted it. And yes the same cable. I havent had a chance to do it yet.
Well this stuff is GL-5 Synthetic blend. I dont know if it really matters if its synthetic or full synthetic. But anyways.
