As you can see in the photos, the previous owner must have hit something and knocked one of the rail posts out right from the screws in the fiberglass. They tried to fix it but did a sloppy job with some joint compound and silicon. So now I have a small wet spot inside the cabin where the screws are. I'm not sure how to address this. The rail is slightly warped which I can deal with. Should I bore our the troubled area and apply putty (there are still broken off screws , and leaking). Should I reposition the top joint (see pic), and a screw in bottom in a new spot to compensate for the rail warp?
All sort of scenerios running through my head. What do you folks think?
