I have found that rainx works well but not for very long, and that is when it only rains once in a while.<br />Seems to me that if the boat sits in the water or when you drive it, the friction from the water would wear it off rather quickly.<br />Why not just wax it? Aurora makes a great bottom wax. I put it on in the spring and do not bother to buff it below the water line. I think it stays on longer that way, but I could be wrong
