Osoyoos Lake straddles the BC/WA border and is part of the Columbia system. Local native groups have been releasing salmon into the lakes and rivers over the past decade in an effort to re-establish the annual sockeye runs. They have been quite successful, enough so that in the past couple of years the authorities have permitted small recreational and commercial fisheries. So here you see the unusual sight of a gillnetter operating with the distinctive vineyards and desert hills of the Okanagan for a backdrop.

Beautiful pics guys. Man do I have some traveling to do to appreciate what you have shared with us here. I guess we are really blessed in that it doesn't matter what size our boat is, we have the same addiction, and that's being on the water.

Now I have noticed that there hasn't been a posting from any of the Mod's.

Well I am certainly jealous of all the beautiful places. Attached is a pic of Ceaser's Creek Lake Waynesville Ohio. My lil peice of heaven and only 6 miles from home. Just trolling thru the no wake zone on my first outing with my Terry 5.2M
