Wow I don't think my gas is that bad, but it is leaving a bunch of gel in the carb screen... Thanks for the procedure, I'm going to try exactly that.

I should revise a bit what I meant to say. What I did was pull the incoming fuel line connection off the fuel/water separator and splice that to a length of new fuel line you will use to get the gas from the boat fuel tank to your fuel storage tank outside the boat. I ran the fuel line up through the transom where the transom plug goes and into the engine compartment and sat behind the boat with the 12 volt mr gasket fuel pump and an extra car battery I could hook the fuel pump up to. I also ended up opening the gas tank access port on the boat floor and when I was done pumping gas, I disconnected the fuel line at the tank and removed the pickup tube to check it out and make sure the check ball was still working. I also plan on taking the mechanical fuel pump off the engine and making sure its not partially plugged or otherwise has junk in it. I can't find a rebuild kit for it but new ones are around $50.00. Also make sure to change your fuel/water separator again when you are done.

If the gas is that bad, I would be pulling the sender out so I could get the last bit of gas out and also look at what the bottom of the tank looked like.

That latest: Last night I was able to start the engine on the fuel in the tank, but still cant keep it running. The only time I can get fuel into the carb is if I am hitting the throttle, when I get the engine running on the fuel I've squirted into the motor, I cannot keep hitting the throttle to keep it running, its like after its running it wont put fuel into the carb. My dad says the carb needs cleaned and rebuilt, as well as the tank drained, so I'm going to do that this weekend. Another question I had, the NAPA here in town has fuel/water separators in stock (the one on the boat is dated 2010) but how do I know which one fits my boat? Are they mostly universal or are they very specific like oil filters? Thanks for all the help guys.

Is your fuel pump on once your engine is running with that fuel you are putting down the carb throat?

Not really sure how to tell... its a mechanical pump.
This is why I asked in post #8 what model you had. My question about it running would have been for an electric fuel pump.

It might be wise though to rig up a pressure gauge or at least crank the engine over with the fuel line disconnected and pointing into a container to see if it is pumping fuel.

Shoot sorry for not getting back to you on that, I have confirmed that fuel is pumping when I crank the engine, disconnected the fuel line at the carb and did find fuel coming out.
