Just watching "The Rundown", with the Rock and Seann William Scott. Totally awesome action/comedy movie. Highly recommend!!

Bounty Hunter - comedy

Brooklyn's finest was a great movie, really liked Richard Gere's role.. It was a little reminiscent of the one he had in Internal Affairs.

In the late 80's I watched a Bruce Lee movie that was dubbed into Spanish.

Tough to go wrong with those sound effects.

"The African Queen" w Bogart and Hepburn is A great timeless movie and its got a boat in it!!how good is that?a completey different futuristic political fantasy movie is "V for vendeta".I love it, kinda spooky,I see some similarities w current state of the world.if youve not seen it you will watch it again and again as its really complex and thought provoking.I also like any of the spagetti westerns w Clint Eastwood,turn up the volume when the music plays it is fantastic!hangem high,the good the bad and the ugly,a fistfull of dollars,pale rider,etc.

African Queen is one of my favorites and I'm (only) 41 years old. I think I own it on VHS, but no longer have a working VHS player.

Army of the 12 monkies has a number of great twists. Eye of the needle will have you pulling for the spy on the wrong side. Entrapment keeps you off base throughout.

I saw that when I was younger, in theaters. I thought it was good then.

Its not on DVD yet, but will be soon. The plot is complex and keeps you on edge continuously. The original story was supposesdly written and revised over a ten year period. Given the incredibly inventive storyline, i wouldn't doubt that.

I go on Netflix and do a search for actors and/or directors I've liked before, and check out ones I haven't seen.

Anything with Bogart/Bacall. Lauren Bacall I still have a thing for!

Directors Joel and Ethan Coen (The Man who wasn't there was a cool miovie I'd never heard of before that I found using this method)

At any rate, tastes differ, but rule of thumb is generally if you like something they have done before, you'll like something else they've done.

It's not foolproof, however. I generally hate Sandler flicks, but "Spanglish" was great.

My latest kick is Clint Eastwood. I never cared much for the spaghetti western movies he made, but he's done some interesting stuff over the last 15 years or so.

I dont know! Paint Your Wagon was pretty good.

Lucky for my, I was born long after this movie was on Beta/VHS and I was able to fast forward through the singing.
Its great on DvD, you just hit the next chapter button, and it takes you right to the end of the song.

The Dish
The Snow Walker

Look them up on Netflix. I had never heard of either, and they were both great movies.

"To Have And Have Not" also has a boat in it and it was the first movie Bogart and Bacall made together. She was only 19 at the time. Walter Brennan does a great sidekick role too. Watch for Hoagy Carmichael (who wrote "stardust") at the piano.
