I order a rebuild kit that comes with new pistons. I need to remove the old pistons from the rods. Anyone have a trick way of removing the piston pins without a press or special tool? I was thinking of either putting them in the freezer and than knocking them out with a brass bar or putting them in the oven and then knocking them out. The oven trick workrd like a charm when I needed to re-sleeve my Seadoo cylinder head. Heated it up in the oven at 350 deg for 30 min and they fell out like butter. Wife was a little disturbed about it but I told her it was no worse than some of the things she has but in the oven!!!!!
