i've never cleaned a tank.

i did pick up a boat that had been in storage for 10+ years. I bought a couple dozen cheap inline fuel filters, put two on the fuel line. Filled up the tank and the varnish that had built up got softened and sloshed off the tank walls. When the filter captured i would replace every time it started bogging down on me. After about 10 filter changes it was all good until I sold about 6 years later - still had the last two filters.

What about the side panel if I want to check the condition of the pipe from the toilet?
