replace vro

I cant figure out where to connect the 4th wire on the new vro pump.(purple one) I dont have a purple wire on the terminal board and i am not confidant about the only choice i have found. should I cut into the 1 purple wire i did find thats going up to the flywheel area of the engine.

I get 135 results. 4 wire VRO in the Johnson/Evinrude section....

What part number pump kit did you get? The correct pump kit includes the purple 4th wire and a 4 wire connector and instructions.
