I want to get rid of the carpeting in my boat as all it does is hold moisture and being original 93' it doesn't look great anymore. Which product is recommended? And is there a step by step anywhere on how to do it? (I usually only turn wrenches) I see some are pre-mixed non-skid and other you have to put in an additive, it will be going over fiberglass if that makes a difference.
The carpeting also runs up the sides of the interior, do I use the same paint as the floor or is it a different smooth paint (they're not very big sides)
This is the best photo I have of what I'll be working with, taken last time I pulled the engine.

Oh ya, I want to stick with good ole white.
