Re: Resto forum posting Etiquette! - please read

there are occasions where the posters are just being led in the wrong directions. or are about to do something that will cause them time and money for nothing.

Not the issue. Feel free to politely disagree with anyone you like.

+1 ^^

It appears +1 is too short, it won't accept it, you need to add the period or something else for it to post.

I guess that why I typically quote the best part and say "This". (although I don't really do that very often)

Using +1 was just a specific example. My intent was not to promote the use of +1. It was that I give credit to the person with the helpful post and show my support.

I'm sure we all feel pretty good about it when someone references something we say and gives us positive feedback for saying it.

Frisco is a great example to us all. In his threads he takes the time to individually respond to every poster offering input. Even if its just taking the time to say thank you for a compliment. All that extra posting he does makes his threads better even if it does add more posts to sort through.

This thread is about courtesy, not repeating of info (imho).

It depends on the project ...

I have NO courtesy when it comes to Familiy .... Period ..

Again..each resto is determined with its own ...

If someone is offended by another posting the same info they are waaaay to sensitive. Sounds like the individual has a personal problem to me...they are victims of their own minds.
