Just picked up a 1973 yesterday. Due to money availabilty
, and novice skill level, I'm setting my completion at 2 years. The hull is solid as well as the rear deck. Pretty much everything that was wooden is rotten. I think the first task is going to be redoing the washboards. Right now they're rotten plywood with several layers of peeling paint. Should I go back with plywood and glass over or should I use something solid(1x10 spruce, ceder, etc...) and glass over? I want to cover the washboards on the rear deck with teak after they're solid. I can handle the wood work, but I could really use plenty of suggestions. I'll post some pics when I figure out how to resize them and get them on here. Thanks, Mike
