reversed the battery cables...Doh

So I accidentally hooked up the battery cables the reversed way on a 2003 Honda 40hp outboard...what did I destroy??

Check your charging circuit to be sure it's still working.

Sorry, I am a total novice. I assume it fried some solid state piece but which one. There is absolutely no clicking or power of any kind in the engine....

Find the fuse you blew, and there is one ... :facepalm:

That's what I figured. Thanks for the info...would the fuse look like a normal one. I looked around and couldn't find anything that looked familiar fuse-wise.
