If only iboats sold common sense, it'd be out of stock ;)

But yeah, if he's one of those stupid people that think he can live on the edge and not kill himself, let him be. This thread is nothing but a troll feeder like people have been saying.

How'd you get his facebook? :p.

I don't know it jurtaman is trolling or not, but make no mistake folks a lot of people live for the adrenaline rush in life.

It's my belief that most people (at least 80%) prefer to sit around relaxing with an umbrella in their favorite drink. Or holding a fishing pole. :) I can't do that! (not for long anyway).

If I'm on vacation sitting on a beautiful beach, I get bored after 20 minutes and have to go rent a surfboard or jet ski. IMO life is too short to sit around doing nothing.

:)One of my favorite quotes:

Life is not a spectator sport. If you're going to spend your whole life in the grandstand just watching what goes on, in my opinion you're wasting your life. Jackie Robinson

But there's a huge difference between doing exciting stuff (racing boats fer instance) with the experience and knowledge to do it properly, and just plain being a jackass.

The biggest thing that worries me about the thread starter is that he doesn't seem to regard other people at all. "Your right to swing stops at my nose." I'm all about having fun...but unless you are in an absolute secluded area, you are imposing a HUGE risk to other boaters, your passengers...and I hope that none of them are minors. My brother in law drowned last year at 35. Water is serious business. I have fun jumping wake, etc, but you have to be responsible. Reading this scares me because I wonder how many people are at MY lake with these philosophies.

Re: *** rip it till u flip it??? ***

I took a ride on a friend of a friends jet boat a few years ago who drove like that. He did a 360 at about 40 mph, everyone ended up in a pile on floor. Luckily no one got tossed out. The idiot driving was laughing and making fun of everyone that got tossed about. His comment was that he wasn't sure what happened and that stuff like that just happens from time to time. He wasn't laughing when I proceeded to pound on his head. I told him that it just happens too, not much I could do about it. He tried to jump overboard but he wasn't that lucky to get away.

My buddy couldn't understand why I was so upset and thought I over reacted. Not being much of a swimmer, and at 50, not having a 20 something's sense of humor, I just couldn't see the reasoning in trying to toss your unsuspecting passengers out of the boat. One of the other passengers was an older woman who was also at the dock who he had offered to drop off at a dock across the lake. I don't think she thought it was very funny either. The next time he decided to try that maneuver, maybe he'll make sure there's not someone onboard who will pound his teeth out of his head for it. I drove the boat home, he didn't have much say in the matter. I was nice enough to give him his keys back when I left. He was lucky not to have to have them surgically removed.
The buddy, former coworker, who's idea it was to take that ride don't come around anymore either. Ain't seen him since that day.

........Thread lock please.....

He will be back later after he kills someone.
Hundreds of years of advice from very experienced boaters just gets bashed..

So let him learn the hard way.

Uhh . . . We support safe boating here. This thread is far from that so it is locked. Please understand that threads like this are for all intents and purposes just like a Political Troll and will not be allowed. There is a fine line between fun on the water and irresponsible behavior. This is over that line by a mile.
