This is what I have:
-Mercruiser 5.7 with Rochester Quadrajet Carburetor (17080561) with a divorce choke
I live in Tennessee and wondering if I really need the divorce choke. The thing is pretty worn out and not sure if it is worth replacing or not. Considering just rigging it up fully open. I usually don't start the boat in anything less that 70 degrees. From what I have seen, there is not an electric conversion kit for this carb number.
I appreciate any feedback and assistance you fine people can offer.
Respectfully,
Brian T. Emigh
