Good morning all.
My 21 foot cabin boat is fitted with a 225 HP vro Evenrude. the propellor combination is correct and all is well . I will be doing a lot of low rpm trawling as well as mid rpm cruising, Trawling at 2000 rpm and cruising at 3000 / 3500 max rpm. Should I use hotter running plugs ( to burn oil build up off the plug electrodes) .would a synthetic oil be a better oil to use as a premix oil. the vro is in good working order but disconected. would a change in mix ratio from 50:1 to 55:1 make much of a difference ,
Kind regards Captain William Wright
