I've mentioned on here before that I'm in law enforcement. Years ago I responded to a call of an unruly female child. I got on the scene and saw my sergeant (now my Chief) getting his ars kicked by a 98 pound, 15 year old girl. She ripped his shirt and kicked him in the privates
! It wasn't that he couldn't defend himself, but he didn't want to hurt this kid. I was laughing so hard that I couldn't get out of the cruiser! He brings it up every chance he gets.
Well, I got paid back today. I went to a call where mom wanted us to talk to her 10 year old son. He wouldn't listen to anything she told him to do. These, unfortunately, are pretty common. They all go the same. Start out by scaring the kid, finish up by building them back up some, and encouraging them to listen to their parents. I asked this kid (he's about 5'2", probably about 140 lbs) to sit on the couch so we can talk. He punches a cabinet and squares off on me
. I'm 6'2, 240 lbs. I put my hand on his shoulder and went to escort him to the couch. He swung at me! Went for the face, but hit me in the shoulder. I grabbed his arms and put him up against the couch, hands behind his back. I'm telling him to calm down and he foot stomps me as hard as he can! Now I'm pissed, but don't want to hurt the kid. I put him in a full nelson and I'm yelling at him to calm down. This goes on for about a minute and I tell him that I'm going to let him go and we're going out back to talk. I let him go, he walks straight to the back door and kicks the screen door open. Tore it up pretty good. I'm out back trying everything, threats, talking, you name it. Nothings working and now I think he's just showing off for the neighbors. I tell him we're going back in the house and he say's, "No were not"! Grab him by the arm, get in the kitchen, he turns around and punches me in the face
! This time I slam him up against the sink and cuff him. Take him to the police department and let him sit in the holding cell for about 1/2 hour. Try to talk to him, same attitude! I really didn't want to charge a 10 year old. Mom comes up. I threaten to charge him if I deal with him again. Best part was telling my Chief that I got my ars kicked by a 10 year old.
