SAE or metric

Can anybody tell me if the bolts and screws on a 1989 OMC 350APRMED engine would be SAE or Metric?
In particular I need to know the size of P/S bracket to head mounting screw # 306414 both diameter and length.
I can't seem to find this info anywhere.

Ayuh,.... I believe you'll find it's 3/8"- 16.... Donno the length...

Pretty easy to measure the depth of the hole.

True if I had the boat available at the time I needed to find a bolt to use.

All the fittings on the older OMCs are SAE, no metric...

keep in mind you are asking a question about a old boat, that not too many people still work on, I fiddled with mine last spring, to get more clearance for the raw water intake hose, it's in a really tough spot to get at, small size can't recall what it was....
you have to be REASONABLE about what you expect to get answers for on this forum....

I have a 1989 OMC 5.8 and the bolts & screws are definately SAE.

So take 2 or 3 diff sizes out with you.
