Saw the dumbest thing ever yesterday!

This would be laughable if it weren't so seriously dangerous. Fishing below Wheeler Dam on the Tennessee River yesterday. They were generating power and had the turbines running. The tailwaters below are always extremely treacherous and turbulent when this is going on.<br />We were 300 or so yds below the turbines and were wearing our PFD's as always as were the other fishermen in the area. I've fished below this and other such dams all my life and I've seen my share of idiots and close calls through the years, so I thought I'd pretty much seen it all and nothing could surprise me when, lo and behold, two idiots on a SEA DOO come flying by us and head into the turbulence JOYRIDING! The other boaters seemed to be as flabbergasted as we were. They weren't hurt and rode off after awhile, If they had gotten into trouble, I guess I would have tried to help them, but it sure would have been a little tempting to see them get what they were asking for.

not all jet fleas are bad...I have one....does that make me bad...nope...it's all about the individual. lot of bad boaters too...had my run in with some a couple of weeks ago while I was fishing...

funny thing though.....that darn thing is hard to ride....handle bars are behind you and it goes much faster in reverse....what gives

In Iowa my friend's always referred to jetskis as "lake lice" I never knew what he was talking about as being just a passenger I thought they looked like a lot of fun. Now that I have my own boat and being on the lake Labor Day weekend I was cussing those "lake lice" every time one of 'em zipped back and forth right in front of my boat or acted like they were playing "chicken" with me so I'd slow down or change direction and the little *%$^$'s would just keep coming right at me!!!! They have beach swimming areas cordoned off, they should have a jetski area cordoned off too or make it a law that before someone gets on one they have to prove they have common sense.

I have had Jetskis run into mu boat playing chicken or just not watching where there going.<br /><br />Trust me they come off the worst for it and i normally have to buff a scratch out .<br /><br />I can't for the life of my think that if i had a jet ski i would go out and do the stupid *** stuff they do.

I was on upper end of Tellico Lake today.There was three fleas came through and went waaay around me.I couldnt believe it.
