If to much Sea Foam is put in gas will it affect the way it runs? I put a whole can (unknown ounces) in about 6 gals in my boat.

It will still run okay...... it will help clean the fuel system. If you use it following a decarbonization of the motor it is also recommended that you change the spark plugs following that.

+1. You'll be fine. It will probably smoke more than normal, but it should actually clean things out a bit. Just inspect/replace the spark plugs after this tank of gas and you should be good to go.

What do you use to spray it into the carb, and do you just spray it into the air intake?
What I've done recently is mix up a half can of sea foam and about a quart of premix in a plastic Maxwell House coffee container. Drill a 5/8 hole in the top and punch some small vent holes. I stick the fuel hose in the can and run the engine in a barrel. Seems to draw a lot of carbon out.

The easiest way is to buy seafoam in the pressurized can. Any plastic squirt bottle will work.

Hi tworivers. Most folks just spray the Seafoam directly into the carb throat while the motor is running. The trick is to get the aerosol version. You can also use DeepCreep, which is also made by SeaFoam and does the same job. After you do the job in the test tank, be sure to take the motor out on the open water where you can run it WOT for awhile to bring it up to temp and burn off the last bits of carbon. Here's a vid of a decab in action. Yes, that much smoke is normal so warn the neighbors!
