BOAT IS IN!!!! The family is pretty excited.

Wow...kudos to Sea Ray. Ordered it on the 12th of October, had a production start date of the 15th, it is at the dealer's facility today!

2 weeks, 2 days from order to delivery.

We will be going Sat. Nov 10th to pick it up. My wife is taking the day off (she is a pharmacist and works odd hours), my parents are taking the 3 kids, and we will be going to pick it up and trailer it home.

I have less than 2 weeks to finish the garage!:smt013

Ill take pics once I get it.

2008 sport 205, 5.0 mpi 260 hp.

Hemp? Is this subliminal? hehe...

The trip from the dealer isnt too bad. About 45-60 minutes depending on traffic. A saturday shouldnt be too bad.

So far, everything about the dealer and sea ray seems perfect. Both were so open to communication, updates, questions, calling or emailing me back etc...What do you have?

i got an old klunker. robins egg blue 1968 or 69 srv 190. rescued it out of a farmers feild!
2 motors and 2 drives later. its got a 4.3 merc and alpha 1. it does an easy (waterlogged) 45 mph.
the boat is so strong. i go out in the biggest storms here on the lake. (only 6 footers.) buck into the waves for 10 km turn around and surf the waves back!

i was gonna go buy a new sea ray, but i love this one too much!
its going to get a total re-fit this winter.
after the foam, stringers, transom and stuff is done. its gonna get turned into the corona boat! (in the sprit of american chopper) compleate re chrome. embroiderd logos on the upholstry.
and a few tricks ive dreamed up. (cold air to the carb)

the sea worthyness of the sea ray has gotten me out of some tricky situations! and now 40 years later the boat could still go another ten seasons

im exited for ya! you and the fam are gonna love it!

Congrats amynbill on your new money pit! I am sure it will serve you well and the kids will love it almost as much as Dad!

Just be careful, you know what they say about Monday and Friday built equipment, and yours was started on a Monday! LOL!

Thanks! Glad to hear that yours is still worthy and you are enjoying it! Kudos on doing the work to rscue that too!

The fam is very excited, it is tis years "xmas tree" as we will be opening presents IN the boat since most of them will be boat related things.

Thanks, I was wondering about the Monday start. I know it takes me until around noon to realize whee I am myself! Hopefully it was during the automation part that it was started, and the robots didnt party too hard over the weekend.

One week, one day...wohooo!
