I want to save my Evinrude Lark VIII 1966! It ran very good all season but when it was time to winterize it, I drained the gearcase oil and it was milky (white but pretty thick). It shifts really good, no slippage so I guess everything is still good in the unit.
I want to change the seals and if possible, go with real Evinrude/Johnson parts on Boats.net. The diagram shows a '68, it looks the same as my '66. What are the seals I have to replace?
Also, do I need special tools for that kind of job?
