I am wondering if anyone reading this thread may be able/willing to offer some help please? I have a 1986 Sears Gamefisher 7.5 Hp motor (made by ESKA), model # 217-586753. I bought a month ago and having hassles with the carb, I think. I cleaned out the carb, replaced clamps on the pipes, checked the needle and jet, and generally made sure the inlets and outlets on the carb were in working condition, and that fuel was getting in and out of the carb. Once done, and replacing the spark plug, she ran well... for 2 boat trips. Tried to start her the other day, and no luck. Tried spraying carb start into the carb, but would still not start. I even took out the spark plug and sprayed in the chamber as well. Still wouldn't start. Fuel is definately getting into the carb, because its draining out of the bottom of the column assembly (at the prop and the exhaust outlets). I think this is strange though. I am not having any luck in finding a replacement carb kit. Does anyone know what could be the problem? Thanks for reading..
