First time poster, go easy.
I got an 86 Bayliner Capri, just ready to start putting back together... seats- uh, maybe a stupid question:
If I rebuild the seat boxes exactly as they are, will I be sorry? What seat options will I have?
I was thinking of a capt's chair for the driver but it seems like I'd be eating a lot of wind in my face. Usually end up sitting on top of the seat, but not sure if I want to change the original design.
Do I keep all the seat hardware off the old seats? Or do the new seats come ready to slip into the old Bayliner slots?
Could I just frame in some boxes and mount back to back seats on top of the boxes?
any suggestions
Thanks
Willy
