The OEM manuals are the best, but on the 2000 model, he will need 4 manuals. One for engine components, one for electrical & ignition, one for fuel systems, and one for the drive.<br />They are not the same as the older Volvo manuals where the engine, ignition, and fuel systems were in the same manual. They went to the OMC type manuals when they bought OMC. They are good manuals, but really hard to find things in. The ones starting last year are now going back to everything about the engine in one book and a seperate book for drives.<br />The original poster is needing help on how to change a thermostat and raw water impeller, and the Seloc or Clymers manuals are more geared to the DIYer where the OEM is designed for the certified Volvo techs with all the proper special tools.
