I'm with Mark on this one. Assuming you use PB to bed the stringers in, the PB is basically 'glass and essentially becomes part of the hull once it's cured and there's plywood sitting on top of it. So just what has been accomplished with the bedding? I've always been under the impression that fiberglass will have the tendancy to flex and the stringers are there to prevent that. If you allow cushion between the hull and stringers aren't you allowing for flex which will eventually create stress cracks in the glass? Just a thought.
