Yea, BMB, it was an awesome series ... as said on Monday, it didn't feel like it was only a 6 game series ... every game but the first one had a 7th game feel to it. Just an amazing series. Good hard hitting, good stick work and skating, 2 very good teams. I would say the difference was the maturity level. If both teams stay together for next year, look for the a similar series - only going to the Pens because of another year of maturity.

yep aspeck I agree except the frist two games !!! these last two were great !!! Hats off to the pens !!! great games !!! the the last couple were some of the dest i have seen and been watching the wings for 40 years , dad loved hockey hes the one that got me going on it !!!

After a night of celebrating their Stanley Cup victory in 1905, members of the Ottawa Silver Seven felt it necessary to see if one could kick the Cup into Ottawa's Rideau Canal. One of them lined it up and gave it a boot, drop-kick style. In a true test of his accuracy and distance, the Cup landed on target, in the canal. That established, the boys went on their merry way, and the Cup stayed in the Canal until the next day when sober heads prevailed and Lord Stanley's mug was rescued. It was then placed in the capable hands of Harry Smith, a Silver Seven member.

Aspeck, I agree on the maturity level thing, but the wings do have a bunch of young talent.
For today I just say party time!!

(Crosby and Fluery DO impress, so next year should be a hoot)!

edmontons name is engraved in the bottom of the cup


the oil kings was the name of the team i think....or oil capitols.....

but it shocked me when i saw edmonton.
