So it should be harder going in to neutral from forward and from neutral to reverse, after pulling gear case and shifting the gears I thought it felt ok but I'm new to this world so I'm not real sure, I did find that the coupler nut that goes in between the shift rod form engine to the shift rod going into gear case was cross threaded on and it will not go back on very easy I have ordered a new one maybe this was not aligned correctly and was causing some issues? The clutch dog is spring loaded to go into FORWARD.----As you try to shift to neutral and reverse it takes more and more effort as you compress this spring.-----Have one of these gearcases apart at this time!
