It's an early 80's Unicorn, made in Melbourne Australia and is very typical of the type of vessel sold here then. It gets about 5-6 mpg at 5000 (10% HP at WOT theory)and does around 25 knots in farily calm water.It's a nice old solid boat and gets more attention than "she who deserves better" sometimes <br />Not that good for chasing fish around the boat though.

jimmythekid, we are out of South Haven but regularly head up to Grand Haven for the day. We live south of Kalamazoo so South Haven is a better choice for us. Check out our web page has some pics from last year http://webpages.charter.net/chriscraftman/

Thanks!<br />Exactly - it's just to support the motor. Probably the first time in it's almost 50 year life that it had a support, but it's never too late to preserve, right?! It works good - the hinge is so it's a little smaller to throw into the car.

<br />Here's a bad pic of my main boat these days. It's like a 4x4 on the river. If you are smart you can go alotta places, if not, you might need a helicopter to get you out. <br />

V?X That is by far one of the prettiest boats I've ever seen. How much you got in it? Ever since the movie called On Golden Pond, I've been in love with the old wooden boats like that. I hear they're a lot of work.
