I found a replacement fuel pump for my OMC 5.7L engine (in a 1989 Reinell) and it arrived today (they forgot to include the mounting gasket). I see that the fuel inlet and outlet openings are in a different spot than the stock fuel pump so now I need to buy some new fuel lines and rerun them.
My question is which one of these two openings is the inlet and which one is the outlet? Here is the fuel pump I just received, http://www.go2marine.com/product.do?no=90353F
Also, I have steel lines to and from the fuel pump now. Is there something easier to work with than having new steel lines made somewhere?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
