The guy ahead of me had used a really thick, stiff corrugated radiator hose that has very little bend. From the tank up to the filler there are three nasty bends so it was very difficult to remove. Now that it is out, I want to replace it with something new. With all the synthetics available today, there must be some products that are better than others - safe, flexible but doing the job.. There is little if any gas remaining for a long time in this length of hose. Any thoughts on this?
2nd question. What is a safe way to ground the filler cap. I really don't want it spliced into the primary -ve battery wire. How about to the through hull bolt(s) that hold the speedo tube in place at the top of the stern (under the deck)? At least these are above the water line.
