Hi All,
Firstly thanks for any advice that is given.....
As thread title suggests I've got a bayliner bowrider 2006 175 with a small leak. Today when I got home from the lake I put two buckets of water in the bilge and waited, it extremely slowly drips from around the bung housing.
Should I just remove the 3 screws and brass bung housing fitting clean up the fiberglass and the brass and put some silicon on it and put it back on and see if that works? What sealant should I use? Also should I have some plumbers tape or anything on the threads of the bung? I dont think this is where it's leaking from but it has none and no o-ring and I dont see metal on metal providing a very good seal...

Thanks again,
Chris
