I recently sold my 2004 Intrigue and sad to see her go.

But on a positive note, bought an Intrigue 2008.
Good looking boat, few hrs, newer colors and details, and has all the options on it. Most excited about the electric arch for towing as we do allot of it.
I have many small bonus projects in store to make her our own and have already finished the underwater lights!

Should be interesting to see how the build quality holds up. 2008 was the year Doral pretty much hit a brick wall financially and I suspect (based on first had experience) that they pretty much churned out junk that year.

Hopefully your's is a great boat and you have many happy years ahead of you.

Cheers.

Thanks guys, you make me feel welcome.

As far as trailering, I think Halifax is the expert. We're planning to keep her on a fresh water lake, then use a transport company if needed.

Will definitely post some pics once she's at the dock with the other toys.

Spring cannot come soon enough!

You can say that again! especially if you live in the northeast. This is the third weekend in a row we have had snow. :smow::dizzy::faint::yield::yield:

Doral made some nice boats. Since they are no longer in business, hopefully you will not need any assistance from the factory with parts/service/warranty. Enjoy !

With two trips to Florida in 2011 / '12, Thousand Islands this yr. then Florida again 2014. + smaller 4hr tows on long weekends, we do trailer alot.
We love exploring and this size boat with it's amenities can do it all.

what are you towing with ? do you need permits for all states and provencies you go through for the width ? sounds like you get alot of use of your boat.

I tow with F250 and tri-axel aluminum trailer.
Yes I do need permits and buy NS and NB annual pass. When going beyond, I just buy the trip pass usually around $10 to 15.00. per province / state.

Once you do get all the gear it's not that much more difficult to tow.
