Who cares what celebrities think about anything anyway...

Best post on this thread. I don't really care what they think whether I agree with them or not. Why would I expect anybody with a background as odd as a "star" to make sense about politics? That's like looking to Al Gore for guidance on science . . . I don't expect anything but entertainment from them, so why would I not listen (or listen) depending on anything that came out of their mouths other than music?

For the record, I think the Dixie Chicks are outstanding musicians and songwriters, the most likely combination that gets me to listen to music . . .
