Well, I'll still have an old one, but I'm selling 2 of them.
Need some room, need some cash.
Stripped em down, cleaned em up, put them out yesterday.
Will through them on ebay in a couple days.

Gonna really miss the newer one.

Are you getting rid of the one you brought to the get-together?

I feel your pain, brother. I have to sell my 4-wheeler to pay for my boat restoration..........A man's got to have priorities.

You ain't the only one, Roscoe.... Hope i'm boatless here pretty soon.. already sold my flats skiff..

Reason being.. Lost my storage spot for the biggun when i had to move my shop.. Cost to much to store a boat that i don't have time to use.. plus insurance, maint.. phoooey!.. Can't justify it.. In my case, it's cheaper to rent a boat or charter one for a day.... plus!.. I don't have to wash off the salt when i'm done... .) arrgh!

Wish I had the money Roscoe. I really liked your boat when we were at the reunion. Real comfortable and lots of room. I hope you put a high reserve on it.

Yes, selling the one I had to the campout. The 1995 Spectrum fishing boat. Its 400# lighter after removing all my junk and the extra motor.
It cleaned up real nice. Just finished up the ebay listing, auction will start Tuesday night. Sighhhhh.

Also selling an old alumacraft clunker, with an old trailer.
Dang ebay motor fees are almost what the boat is worth.

I am looking for something a little smaller, and less fancy, something a bit more fitting for a guy who makes pizzas for a living. Gotta live within a small budget or get a better paying job. Email me at roscoe33@mac.com if you have a better paying job for me.

Re: Soon to be boatless.

Yeah, maybe.
I'm actually looking at a '77 Alumacraft with a 35.
Pretty plain boat that need a bunch of work, but the motor is good and the price is right.

Gonna be hard going back to an engine without power trim.

Re: Soon to be boatless.

With not being in the water yet, I might as well be boatless. This is the longest period of time I have never been on the water.

I had several boats, my wife said I can only use one of them at a time. So why do I need several? Geeesh, I hate it when a woman makes a good point.

roscoe, your a true boater, I don't think you will ever be completely boatless.

Hey Roscoe, that Spectrum looks like a nice boat. Want to trade a Skeeter for it. The higher sides on your Spectrum would be better for my 4 year old! 8)

Re: Soon to be boatless.

I recently sold my flashy Baja the week after my son was born because it didn't seem practical any longer. I was sad until just now, I think I'm gonna buy your boat! :D :D

Pony, you are a LIAR!!! :p :D

Re: Soon to be boatless.

Sad news indeed; hope you get a boat of some sort soon though.

Reckon I'll be joining you shortly: main boat (a RIB) needs to go to make room for a new car project. Never get the chance to use, living too far from the sea now to make the trip worthwhile and the local lakes are speed-limited to 10mph and full of tourists at this time of year. Last time I tried to launch it was a two hour wait to use the slip...............I gave up waiting :'(
We'll keep a small "rubber duck" boat for messing about in: can be folded up and stored in the loft and doesn't need a slip to be launched 8)
