Re: Soon to be New Boater with questions
Re: Soon to be New Boater with questions
The Skeg was damaged due to a fisherman leaving something floating just under the water that was pulled in to the Prop. He had to change the prop & asked about skeg damage but was told not a big deal I may just get it fixed. I did read quite a few post that said it really isn't a big deal.
Also yes it drives AWESOME IMO not really all that sure how fast she can go though. We plan on cleaning all interior & buffing out the Hull & Trailer soon. Since we are in the cleaning business not a big deal.
There is an anchor but no rope
UPDATE!
We did pickup our boat yesterday & everything looks good so far accept the wiring on the trailer has some issues so I have decided to rewire the whole trailer instead of patch the wiring & change all lights out to LEDs while I am at it.
Also I have noticed the Dash Instrument lights don't work so I will need to do some Diag. Previous owner never was out at night so don't think he even noticed them out.
Thanks for all the advice & warm welcome we look forward to learning about boating & someday helping others.

Nice rig, congrats
Looks to be in great shape, except for that skeg. I wonder how that damage happened? Seems to be a case of reversing into something maybe a rock?
That anchor storage on the bow will be very convenient for you when needed, and I'll bet she's fun to drive with that big V8
