Looking for some advice on how my plugs on my 48 spl look. These have been out on 3 trips this year all about the same 5 min hard run to my fishing spot with a little idling to get to the spot once there then a hard 5-8 min run back to the dock and minimal idling to get to the dock in the no wake zone. This motor runs great and fires right up just wasn't 100% sure why the top plug was moist and the bottom one was dry. These are the NGK's suggested on the max rules page gapped at .030. Thanks

Check to see if you have spark on the wet plug. I got a spark plug tester (adjustable) from my local auto parts store for around $10.

It's running great, no issues just want to know if I need to adjust my carbs or not. I guess I could test them though to make sure it is getting good spark.

Thanks

The high speed mixture on your motor is likely controlled by fixed jets. Unless you are running at high altitude, stock jets are the way to go. Idle mixture adjustment will not affect high speed, nor plug color.

Do you suggest running it hard then shutting down and checking them to get a more accurate look?

I would do that. Then you can tell if it's you idle mixture or your high speed mixture that is causing this.
