Spark Plugs 5.7 Mercuriser

Two problems.
1st. Is there a special plug wrench I need to properly R&R plugs. A standard wrench will work but hard to get o plug and when I do wants to break plug.

What type of plug?

Same anwser here as when you posted in outboard, we need a model and serial number. Silvertip should stick to his own shortcomings on his abilities to anwser simple questions

I Guess I must have Missed Something..............

Anyways,.................
350 Chevies,.....Aka; your 5.7l Mercruiser have used the AC MR43T sparkplugs since Forever...........
The 1,+ Only Change came with the introduction of the Vortec Heads.........
The Vortecs take a Longer Reach plug,....... I believe the # for those is AC MR 43TS..........

So,....... If by chance your 5.7l Mercruiser is New Enough to have Vortec Heads,...... You'll need the Long plugs.......
If it's a 1995/6 or Older motor,...... You'll be needing the AC MR43T plugs........

bondo and mgnav, heres a couple more listings from champion spark plugs....I count at least 3 for the chevy 350 or 5.7 liter. I dont ask for serial or model numbers to pad my post count like some others do ---Bob.

Doesn't the Vortec enginge use the MR43LTS?

I think the MR43TS can be used in place of the MR43T in the older engines. The "S" means extended tip and the "L" means long reach.
