I have got my new transom installed . It is sandwiched in between the aluminum hull and another inner aluminum plate. The splashwell is then attached by 40 screws to the inner aluminum plate. After having coated my new transom in epoxy, it pains me to have to drill 40 little holes into it! I suppose worst case , is to seal each hole with 5200 or epoxy. I would prefer to keep my new transom from having 40 potential disasters waiting to happen. I thought about using epoxy and glue the splashwell, but that would make it kinda permanent.
Any other ways to attach it that prevents me from having to drill holes, or permanently gluing it?
