Friday, April 15th is my older son's 8th birthday. We're going to take the boat out to Lake Seminole for a day, possibly two, on the water. QUOTE]

I know.......my birthday too! My late Mother and Grandmother were born on April the 15th too, and they were wonderful people. I hope he ends up more like them!

That's awesome that you share your birthday with my older son!!!... and your late mother and grandmother... May they rest in peace. My mother and my late father both February 4th Birthdays. My favorite cousin shares my birthday, and his daughter shares my parents birthdays. I've always been kinda amused by these things. I'm not easily impressed, but very easily amused.

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes for my son, and for my Friend sasto.

So sorry this is belated...:facepalm: Happy Birthday Sasto!!!

I worked Thursday night, 7p-7a. Picked up some items for the days adventures, and then got the boat ready for this seasons overdue maiden voyage. Had a blast all day. The kids went nuts with the tubing. Got home at around 3a, still having not slept since Thursday. I slept fom 12:30pm til 4:15pm before work on thursday night. After less than 4hrs sleep, I'm still up now, after almost 38hrs of non-stop action including 12hrs in one of the larger ER's in Georgia (working, not being treated).

Tonight, I'll post some pics of the fun. Just need to unwind for a while before going to sleep... Sleep is highly overrated, anyway.

I understand that, I just had a wedding aniversary, the 15th, 44 years with the same one, our daughter posted it on Facebook, my personal thought, she did not have to do that, but stuff happens.

Glad you were out having a good day, Fireman. I had some friends down from Michigan and the weather was just about perfect for them. Low 80's and partly cloudy. I didn't burn the yankees to bad.

Here they are running my ladies boat in the river. Notice i said "ladies boat". I learned this from another iboater. She thinks the time and money I put into it is all for her. She loves me for all I do for her. .

These 2 osprey were catching more fish than us.

And now to keep this on subject ......Is it June yet!!!!!

Captain, this voodoo internet stuff is getting down right scary. I turned 53 last month!

On top of that, look at this antique fishing hook box I found while cleaning out an old tackle box. I think it belonged to one of my grandfathers.

...And by the way, Great shot of those osprey!!! I love watching them on Lake Seminole. They nest all over the lake on the taller cypress trunks. The Bald Eagles are a special treat. We don't see them all the time like we do the osprey.

Well.....since the weather here in Fl can be the same as it is in hell, heaven is not in my plans just yet, earth is for growing my garden, lets make it the ocean somewhere!
