Stainless grab rail trim help

Now that I have my boat back together and in the water, I am looking at re-doing the interior as this winters project.

I have a interior stainless grab rail that uses the threaded ends to attach to a upholstered side bolster. The rail had molded nylon trim rings that slid over the threaded stud which protected the upholstery from the sharp edge of the grab rail.

This summer those nylon pieces have disintegrated. I would like to replace them when the upholstery is replaced. Looking on line I can find the grab rails no problem but I haven?t found the plastic trim parts. Anyone have a lead on them? Thanks!

If they are just round plastic trims, you can probably just pick up some plastic washers from the hardware store. If they have a shape to them, then I would probably look to get some thin (1/8" or less) plastic sheeting and cut your own. BUT, pics would be helpful..

I looked througg my pictures and none showed what I'm talking about. I'll go up to the shop this weekend and grab a picture.
