I have 1/2 acre behind the house, but wouldn't be living there too much longer if I bought this!!!! :D My other half would have the WHOLE house to herself! But then again..This is a cuddy..run the exstention cord....a good sleeping bag....HELP!!!!!!

We have the same boat in in the 21 ft version and love it. Only complaint is that due to the steep V that it has and its light weight it if you have the two people on the boat standing on the same side then the boat really tips to the side. I will have to check the registration though. Even though ours is 21 ft I think in my call it an 18. Maybe back then they measured differently? Ours doe not look any bigger than the one in the picture. Does not bother me though if the measurement is off, it make registration and marina fees that much cheaper

That Chieftan is one sweet rig...I've always admired the Islanders from late 70s to th 90s but I've got to admit that I secretly want an older Chieftan like this one because they have more character.

Great for fishing the Great Lakes, mooring overnights and whatever else you need. I say get it if you've got the 1/2 acre available.:D

I plan on buying one as soon as I have a place to keep her(one-car garage only 18 feet long limits me to a 15'-16' Holiday and landlord says no boats in the driveway):eek:
