Thanks, the plank bolt holes in the hull brackets were all ready figure 8 shaped (10 of 12 anyway) from the PO :facepalm: I'm not real sure why, they used 3/16" bolts, which seem fairly small. For coverage the new are 5/16".
I made a slightly larger hole basically in the center, and I'll use 2 washers topside under the bolt heads. 3 if you count the really thin plastic shim washer under the other 2.
Got the 4 seats that came w/ the Jet taken apart & the metal parts cleaned, pedestals & hinges, now drying in the sun. Hinges won't get paint, the pedestals will. The vinyl seems to be cleaning up pretty good, so later, I'll go grab some dye & see how best to prep them for dying
If I could only get work to fund more stay-cations, I might make some real progress.
Like fishing, a bad day wrenching on a project (esp a boat) is often still way better then a good day at work
