I saved a boat from the local scrap metal crusher. I think it is a Starcraft Falcon but it has no ID plate/sticker nor any registration numbers. I have already started resto on the trailer and will start on the boat probably in the next few days. Can anyone identify this hull for me? I have searched thru the forums and the 2 things i cant find are:
1. On the bow of the boat the plate over the spot where the hill comes together on top has a plate with a slotted handle I am guessing is for securing the boat while docked. All the pics i see in the Starcraft brochures have a smooth plate with no handle.
2. On the stern where the transom ajoins the sides of the hull all the pics i see show this to be a 45 degree incline down to the level that the motor mounts. My hull has curved down slopes, not straight down inclines.
This may not be a Starcraft but I rally think it is. I got this lady and my friend saved a Starcraft Jupiter. I bought this boat by the pound, Yes, by the pound, $1 per pound for the price of scrap aluminum. So, i got her for $180.
Any help is very much appreciated.
Regards,
Steve
