i just looked around in the back "water" on this thread. The only CL posting still open CBK posted was the canoe.... Ahhh... NO! Another member posted a 62 starchief (forgot who) thats what Im looking to find. Being formerly from MI and now in FL I feel I have that corridor(i-75) to find a deal. Im putting up my carhauler (for my Mudtruck)on CL soon. So I'll have about $1000.00 to get new a tinney. Hopefully, find one with a motor.

Huh, interesting. I used the search feature here on iboats and found descriptors for the angry mob. I came up with unruly, smelly, childish, mean spirited, hairy, poor mannered, losers, complainers, animals, rude, whiny babies, cute (that one was weird), dumb, and good eaters.

Well, I suppose we can add "great" to that list. Who would have guessed!

$1K should give you a fair number of options for a cabin boat. They are out there just have to look. I have seen CBK post up plenty of good deals in your neck of the woods. If you feel like hauling one home after visiting your family, I can be on the look out for you in this area, eh!

You might want to stop by here and get your name on the board if you are a man on a budget...

ok, im up on the thread jas- thnx bud. I know theres a guy in my area that sells cheap boats, but i forgot where he lists. ive been searching but cant find it. i do remember, after a phone call, he prefers alumacraft boats. i i find it, ill post it somewhere.

Yah buddy, that Chieftain is awesome! I love it! I know a guy who could help you work through that giant hole in the butt end of that boat.;) Bummer there is no trailer underneath, if there was I'd say go buy it now!

I was trying to strong arm CBK into that one but he hates cats so it was no good.:D

Yeah, I don't know. I gotta have at least a trailer with it. I'm a fabrication pro as well, but life is easier with something to go off of. I would like to get one I can restore to OEM. I can't blame CBK for the cat thing. Cats are out to kill us. Like when the knead your body... they're checking for weak spots so they can start there, when they pounce. It's obvious that cat was staging his attack. I hope he lived.

Both of those are deal breakers....

Promach - I may have a 69 Starchief on an old Snoco trailer If my buddy doesn't want it. Gutted and ready for resto. I'll find out this weekend. It might not be worth it to truck it from Maine but its up to you. Like to get $300, thats what I paid.

Michael, please keep me posted. I'm very interested. Maine is doable for me. BTW all . My computer popped out again. So forgive me if I don't respond. I'm on my phone for now. Planning s big day of work tomorrow. Attacking the trailer,and re wiring boat.
