Re: Starcraft on clist!

So I know Ez is the OB guru, what size of OB would that 22 holiday take buddy?

My buddy's 21' Chieftain is rated for 170. Not sure how the additional foot in length and/or the lack of a cabin would affect that rating for a 22' Holiday.

Those splashwells look strange guys because the boat has gotten much taller but the motors are the same. Still gotta get them down in the water somehow! It's either with a giant splashwell or the motor brackets they're using nowadays.

So I was under the impression that Starcrafts did not really come with a bigger motor in them, is this correct? Cause I found this in the Boise CL tonight.

Nothing stock about that setup. Also doubtful that boat is a '98 with that side molding on it. Maybe a '98 motor he put in it or maybe he refurbed it in '98.

Thats a nice time capsule right there...but..

W.T.H A TILLER MOTOR?

I don't think so Kev. Some of the smaller tiller motors retain their tiller handle but can still be setup for remote.

Doesn't 20 hp seem a bit under powered? I wonder if sometime in the past 26 years that it's been garaged the original O/B was sold or it blew up 26 years ago to cause putting it in the garage. The 20 hp was included in the sale cause it's a lot easier to sell a boat with power, even for $700.

On the side view you can see the top of the wheel, right side just inside the windshield.
